Sandra Stoycheva was born in Sofia in 1983. From 2000 to 2002, she studied "Graphics" at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. She graduated Graphic Design in 2008 and Audio-Visual Arts in 2011 from Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In 2011 she won first prize of the public with the work "Hourglass" in the talent competition of the year, part of the festival STRP, Eindhoven, the Netherlands. She has participated in numerous art projects in the Netherlands and Bulgaria, the last of which is a kinetic set for a theatrical performance in Amsterdam.

Lives and works in Amsterdam and Sofia.
