"I try to give a real shape to certain events... I want to capture moments that are obviously insignificant and thus to stop time. The picture is always going beyond what is depicted, and the shown is crossing the border of the visible. Interactions, feelings and thoughts of everyday life run into the workflow. My personal, intimate world comes into being. Humour and self-irony balance significantly the darker side of my paintings."
