“So close and so far away… When you go away from home, when you’re traveling, you meet many people, different cultures, you see beautiful and wonderful things... Unfamiliar streets, other spaces, foreign history... You look at people, houses, surrounding landscapes and search for your reflection … You look for your own image in another’s mirror and mark your "point - place" on the alien geographical map.

And perhaps somewhere there, far away, begins the real journey that takes us back to ourselves. A journey along different cultural paths that brings you back to the home of the soul, your own cultural identity.  The road on which you slowly gather the particles of your artistic character.”

“The artist Radostina Doganova presents in her paintings an aesthetic conception of pictorial space that contains several dichotomous plains in terms of content and meaning. Major catalyst in her work is the dialogue between the seen, the source of creative impulses and inner spiritual disposition of the author”.
